A Winter Day at Bryce Canyon

Land of Liberty Explorers

Scenic Drive

We began our day at Bryce Canyon by driving the park’s 38 mile scenic drive and stopping at some of the 13 viewpoints. We drove all the way to end of the scenic drive and then worked our way back toward the Visitor’s Center.

Hiking into the Canyon

We hiked into Bryce Canyon on the Queen’s Garden Trail from Sunrise Point. Hiking through the hoodoos was a very memorable experience! We hiked back out of the canyon on the Navajo Loop Trail, which ends at Sunset Point. Looking forward to another trip to spend more time exploring the hoodoos!

Bryce Canyon Lodge

We stayed at Bryce Canyon Lodge. Staying at the lodge let us spend extra time in the park and made it easy to get up early to see the sunrise. Check out our post on historic national park lodges for more on our stay at Bryce Canyon!
